Plants form a bushy, upright clump of bright green leaves, bearing long branching spikes of rosy purple flowers throughout most of the summer months. Foliage may take on some red tones in fall. Good garden performer. Attractive to butterflies. Always a good idea to leave space between plants to provide for proper air circulation.
